Hypospadias Finally Corrected (Hypospadias Repair)
Eric, now 22, and his mother describe the challenges of hypospadias. After 6 failed surgeries at a Children’s Hospital beginning when he was an infant, he had severe urethral stricture disease involving the entire anterior urethra and other complications. He was eventually referred to the Center for Reconstructive Urology by his Pediatric Urologist where he was successfully reconstructed with a 2 stage urethroplasty to rebuild a new urethra.
